Why this website

I am drawn to idea of creating static personal web pages as opposite to dominating social media profiles. Internet is locked into a couple of services: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, which is what I don‘t like for many reasons. So, I decided to build web 1.0 page. To go back to the core.

I dislike Facebook, Instagram, Twitter , Tumblr and others. Why? Longs story short...Ok. No ranting from me. Just use your favourite search engine (even Google if you like) and search for „Why I left social media“.

This page was created in LibreOffice Writer as it is a free and easy to use software. Well, it is a word processor. I was searching for simple WYSIWYG HTML editor until I realized, that the tool for creating simple text based web page is already installed on my computer. I know basics of HTML from 90‘s, but I don‘t want to keep my workflow as simple as possible.
